Manchester Pride 2026
Last month, on the 29th of August 2026. A group of women named LISG came together to celebrate Manchester Pride and take part in the Pride parade. It was a vibrant and memorable day filled with joy, friendship, connection and a wonderful sense of community. Although the day brought heavy rain, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm and positive spirit of the group. With smiles, laughter and plenty of energy, the women proudly continued the march and embraced every moment of the experience. Throughout the day, the group captured many special memories through photographs and enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with former LISG members, catching up, sharing stories and reminiscing about their experiences together. Manchester Pride also provided a valuable opportunity for socialising and networking, allowing members to meet and connect with others while enjoying the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the celebrations. After the parade, some members continued the fun by visiting a gay bar, where they enjoyed more time together, socialising and celebrating before making their way home. Overall, it was a truly lovely and enjoyable day for everyone who attended. The experience highlighted the importance of friendship, inclusion, belonging and community, while giving members the opportunity to create new memories and strengthen existing relationships. Despite the rain, the laughter, energy and togetherness of the LISG women made Manchester Pride a day to remember, and one that everyone could look back on with warmth and fond memories.
