LISG Women’s Day Trip to Liverpool 20 JUne 2026

On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the LISG Women's Group enjoyed a fantastic day trip from Manchester Piccadilly Station to Liverpool Lime Street. Travelling together by train gave everyone the chance to relax, chat, and enjoy each other's company before a fun-filled day of exploring.

Our first stop was the iconic Royal Albert Dock, where we admired the beautiful waterfront and learned about Liverpool's rich maritime history. We then visited the Museum of Liverpool, which offered fascinating exhibitions about the city's heritage, culture, music, sport, and the lives of its people.

After visiting the museum, we explored Liverpool city centre together, taking in the sights and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. We also took several group photographs to capture the wonderful memories of the day and celebrate our time together.

The trip was a great success, providing an opportunity for the women to build friendships, share experiences, and enjoy a day of learning, laughter, and togetherness. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so enjoyable, and we look forward to many more memorable outings with the LISG Women's Group.
