LGB London Conference 2026

I recently had the opportunity to attend an international LGB event, and it was a truly meaningful experience. I met and connected with gay and lesbian people from all over the world, sharing stories and learning from one another.

The event focused on supporting LGBcommunities in Africa, and it created a space for honest conversations about what it means to be gay in different cultural contexts. I was honoured to share my own journey as a lesbian asylum seeker living in the UK, speaking about both the challenges and the progress I have experienced.

Being part of this event reminded me of the importance of visibility, understanding, and support across communities. I am deeply grateful for the support that made it possible for me to attend.
